The FPV785M from Thorlabs is a Volume Holographic Grating (VHG)-Stabilized Laser Diode that operates at 785 mm. This multimode laser diode provides wavelength-stabilized spectrum with an output power of 600 mW. The output of the laser is coupled to an FC/PC-terminated multimode fiber. It has slope efficiency of 0.95 W/A and a threshold current of up to 350 mA. This laser diode requires a DC supply of 1.9 V and consumes 1100 mA of current. It consists of an integrated thermoelectric cooler (TEC) and thermistor. The laser diode is available in a 14-pin hermetically sealed butterfly package and is ideal for Raman spectroscopy applications.
