The L795VH1 from Thorlabs is an AlGaAs VCSEL Laser Diode that operates 788 to 800 nm and delivers up to 0.25 mW of power in a circular Gaussian beam, which is linearly polarized. It’s spectral profile is single-mode and has a single mode suppression ratio (SMSR) of 20 dB. This compact light source is available in a TO-46 package with an H pin configuration and it is suitable for single frequency applications. The laser diode emits infrared light, which can be hazardous to the human eye. Products that incorporate these devices must follow the safety precautions found in IEC 60825-1 ‘Safety of laser products.’
