The HL63623HD from Ushio Opto Semiconductors is an AlGaInP Single Emitter Laser Diode with an output wavelength of 638 nm. It produces a pulsed output power of 1.9 W and a CW output power of 1.6 W with wall plug efficiency of 43%. This multi-transverse mode laser diode has a beam divergence of 10 degrees (parallel) and 33 degrees (perpendicular) respectively. It has a reverse voltage of 2 V and a threshold current of up to 420 mA. This red laser diode requires a DC supply of 2.25 V and consumes up to 1550 mA of current. It is available in a CAN package that measures 9 mm and is ideal for laser projector, laser modules, and laser TV applications.
