The HL65261MG Series from Ushio Inc. are AlGaInP Laser Diodes that operate at a wavelength of 658 nm. They operate in transverse mode and provide optical output power of 85 mW (CW) and 310 mW (pulsed) with a wall-plug efficiency of 34%. These laser diodes have beam divergence (FWHM) of 7.5° (parallel) & 15° (perpendicular) and a threshold current of up to 50 mA. They require a DC supply of 2.6 V and consume 90 mA (CW) & 245 mA (pulsed) of current. These laser diodes are available in a CAN package that has a diameter of 5.6 mm and are ideal for ToF sensor (distance sensor), photoelectric sensor and LiDAR applications.
