The 7Z07100 from Ophir Optronics is an Industrial Power Sensor that operates from 450-500 nm, and 900-1100 nm. It can be used for measuring lasers that provide an output power of 50 W-12 kW. The sensor sets the laser pulse from 0.3 to 4 sec and measures the energy and exposure time by sampling the output power. It requires a DC supply of 24 V and has a current consumption of up to 5 A. The sensor supports Profinet, RS232, EtherNet/IP, and RS232 interfaces.

The 7Z07100 is housed in a dust-resistant industrial package to keep the laser in clean working order even under harsh factory conditions. Its protective cover can be opened and closed remotely to protect the sensor when not in use. The sensor has a protective window that is antireflection coated to reduce back reflection of the high power beam. It is equipped with two RJ45 ports for easy integration into existing line or ring topologies. The sensor is available in a module that measures 200 x 100 x 84 mm.
