The 7Z07104 from Ophir Optronics is an Industrial Laser Power Meter that operates at wavelength ranges of 450 to 550 nm (NIR) and 900-1100 nm (blue-green). It can measure lasers with power ranging from 50 W to 12 kW and energy in the range of 100 J to 5 kJ with a pulse width of 0.3 to several seconds. This power meter has an aperture of size Ø50 mm and up to ±3.5% accuracy with a response time of 3 s and a waiting time of 12 s. It can handle a maximum energy density of 4 kJ/cm2 and a maximum beam diameter of 35 mm. This power meter has an antireflection coated protective window that can be opened and closed remotely and is used to reduce back reflection from high power beams.

The 7Z07104 requires a DC supply of 24 V and consumes 4.8 W of power. It can be controlled via EtherNet/IP & RS232 interfaces and has 2x M12D-coded connectors for data & 2x Mini 7/8“ connectors for power. This power meter is available in a dust-resistant industrial body that measures 200 x 122 x 84 mm that keeps it in clean working order even under harsh factory conditions.
