The F80(120)A-CM-17 from Ophir Optronics is a Laser Thermal Sensor that has a spectral range from 0.248 to 9.4 µm. It has an aperture of Ø17.5 mm that can measure CW/pulsed power from 100 mW to 80 W continuously and to 120 W intermittently with a power density of 7-35 kW/cm2. In the energy mode, this thermal sensor can handle energy in the range of 50 mJ to 200 J with an energy pulse width of 100 ns to 2ms and an energy density of 0.7-45 J/cm2. It has a CM absorber and a response time of 2 s. This thermal sensor has a removable diffuser assembly with adjustable height and fan cooling. It is available in a package that measures 64 x 64 x 93 mm with a 1.5 m cable and is ideal for material processing applications.
