The PIXEA-980 from AUREA Technology is a Picosecond Diode Laser that operates at a wavelength of 980 nm. It delivers an output power of up to 100 mW and has a wavelength accuracy of ± 20 nm. This laser has a maximum spectral width of 10 nm and pulse width of 50 ps. It has a continuously triggerable pulse repetition rate from single shot to 80 MHz and an average power of 1 mW. This laser has TEM00 mode with a beam quality factor (M2) of less than 1.1 and polarization ratio above 20 dB. It has Graphical User Interface & DLL libraries for LabVIEW, C++, VBS and an input/output SMA connector.
The PIXEA-980 operates in both continuous wave & pulsed modes and delivers free-space or fiber-coupled (PM, SMF, or MMF) outputs. It features master/slave operation and can be remotely controlled via a USB interface. This laser requires a DC supply voltage of 12 V and is available in a module that measures 147 mm x 95 mm x 31 mm (laser head) & 240 mm x 245 mm x 105 mm (control unit). It is ideal for FLIM microscopy, time-resolved spectroscopy, photodetector characterization, Time-Correlated Single Photon Counting (TCSPC), seed laser, semiconductors inspection, LiDAR & range finder, and optical fiber sensing applications.
