The BDS-MM from Becker & Hickl are Picosecond Diode Lasers that operate at wavelengths of 405 nm, 450 nm, 525 nm, 640 nm, 685 nm, 785 nm, 915 nm, and others on request. They deliver an output power of 10 mW - 60 mW (at 50 MHz) and have a pulse width of 65 ps - 120 ps (at medium power) & 120 ps - 300 ps (at maximum power). These multimode lasers have a repetition rate of 20 MHz & 50 MHz (switchable by TTL signal) and duty cycle of 10 - 30% (at less than 2.5 V). They have a coupling efficiency of 60% (100 μm), 80% (200 μm) & 90% (100 μm), and warm-up time of 1 min. These lasers have an output impedance of 50 Ohms and jitter below 10 ps. They have fast ON/OFF control outputs and SMA connectors. These lasers require a DC supply voltage of 9 V - 15 V and consume 200 mA - 500 mA of current. They are available in a compact module that measures 40 mm x 70 mm x 120 mm and are ideal for Near-Infrared spectroscopy, fluorescence-lifetime spectrometers, and functional Near-Infrared spectroscopy applications.
