The Wedge XB from Bright Solutions is a Q-Switched DPSS Laser that operates at wavelengths of 1064, 532, 355, and 256 nm. It provides a peak output power of up to 4 MW. This linearly polarized laser produces pulse energy of 4 mJ with a pulse width of less than 1.5 ns and has a repetition rate of up to 1 kHz. It requires a dual DC supply of 12-15 V and has air cooling that lowers heat waste. This laser is available as a benchtop unit that measures 26 x 25 x 10 cm and is ideal for micromachining of glass, specialty marking, thin film removal, LIDAR and bathymetry, non-linear spectroscopy, harmonic and parametric generation, Visible to IR OPO pumping, and TeraHertz generation applications.
