The FPL-03RC Series from Calmar Laser is a Femtosecond Fiber Laser that operates at a wavelength of 780 nm and 1550 nm. It provides an average power of more than 80 mW (780 nm) and 200 mW (1550 nm). The laser has a repetition rate of 80 MHz and a pulse width of less than 100 fs. It can be used as a perfect source for the generation of terahertz radiation with either a GaAs or InGaAs photoconductive antenna. This laser utilizes the proprietary Mendocino saturable absorber technology, which has been developed to deliver reproducible mode-locking at turn-on conditions with excellent stability and reliability. It is available in a benchtop unit that measures 34.9 x 43.7 x 10 mm with SMA connectors and is ideal for R&D, test & measurement, telecommunication components characterization, optical metrology, materials characterization, multiphoton imaging, and integrated circuit testing applications.
