The HighLight FL-ARM Compact Series from Coherent are Adjustable Ring Mode (ARM) Fiber Lasers that operate at wavelength of 1070 nm. They deliver an output power of 2000 W - 10000 W and have a wavelength accuracy of ± 10 nm. These single mode or multimode lasers have a pulse frequency range of up to 10 kHz and power range of 1% - 100%. They have a power stability of ± 1 nm, beam quality factor below 2.5 mm x mrad (center) & 9 mm x mrad (ring) for 70/180 μm and less than 2.5 mm x mrad (center) & 6 mm x mrad (ring) for 50/140 μm. These lasers use a fiber with a length of 20 m and center diameter of 70 µm & ring outer diameter of 180 µm or center diameter of 50 µm & ring outer diameter of 140 µm.

The HighLight FL-ARM Compact Series have two version: multimode version and superior brightness version. They can be controlled via QBH or QD interfaces and has Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Profibus, Devicenet, Ethercat, Scanner control interface, Multi station interface options. These lasers require an AC supply voltage of 400 V/440 V/480 V, consumes up to 50 A of current, and dissipates below 34.6 kW of power. They are available in a module that measures 794 (L) mm x 916 (W) mm x 824 (H) mm or 794 (L) mm x 916 (W) mm x 1322 (H) mm and are ideal for high-quality welding of challenging materials like high-strength steel, aluminum, or copper & cutting applications.
