The MOPA 532-250 from CryLaS GmbH is a Diode Pumped Solid State (DPSS) Laser that operates at a wavelength of 532 nm. It delivers an output power above 200 kW and has a pulse energy of over 250 μJ (at 1000 Hz). This passively Q-switched laser has a repetition rate of 1 Hz - 1000 Hz and pulse width of less than 1.4 ns (FWHM). It has a pulse energy drift below ± 3% and pulse-to-pulse energy stability of up to 2 % rms. This laser has a beam quality factor (M2) of up to 1.3 and beam-pointing stability below 3 μrad/K.
The MOPA 532-250 has a TEM00 beam spatial mode that produces a free beam of diameter 0.6 ± 0.3 mm and has a beam divergence of up to 3 mrad. This vertically polarised laser has a polarisation ratio of greater than 100:1 and beam ellipticity of less than 2:1. It can be controlled via a USB interface and supports BNC & SMB connectors. This Class 4 laser requires an AC supply voltage of 100 V - 240 V and consumes up to 250 W of power.
The MOPA 532-250 is available in a compact package that measures 61 (H) mm x 150 (W) mm x 323 (L) mm (laser head) and 184 (H) mm x 449 (W) mm x 375 (L) mm (control unit). This laser is ideal for marking (glass, lenses), engraving, ophthalmology, photoacoustic, Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS), mass spectroscopy, biology, biomedicine, chemistry, and analytics applications.
