The IS-Series from EdgeWave are Pulsed Lasers that operate at a wavelength range from Deep Ultraviolet to Infrared. They deliver an output average power of 20 W - 400 W and have a pulse energy of 4 mJ - 60 mJ. These lasers have a minimum pulse width of 5 - 6 ps and maximum pulse repetition rate of 15 kHz - 100 kHz. They have a beam quality factor (M2) of 1.1 and polarization extinction ratio above 100:1. These lasers have an rms energy stability below 2% - 4 % and timing stability of up to 2 ns. They produce a beam of diameter 3 mm with a beam ellipticity of 10 % (far field).
The IS-Series is an electro-optical Q-switched laser based on InnoSlab technology. They have a full beam divergence angle of 225 µrad - 500 µrad and pointing stability below 50 µrad. These lasers require an AC supply voltage of 90 V - 264 V or 180 V - 264 V and consume 1kW - 4 kW of power. They are available in a compact module with a laser head that measures 650 mm x 178 mm x 150 mm and are ideal for plasma generation, glass milling, cutting & drilling, ablation, structuring & scribing, tool making, solar cell processing, pumping of dye laser, OPA, OPO, and PIV & LIF applications.
