The CA-1201 from eLas educational Lasers is a Helium-Neon Laser that operates at a wavelength of 632.8 nm. It delivers an output power of 1 mW - 5 mW and has TEM00 transversal resonator modes (other modes can be achieved by adjusting the cavity mirrors). This gas laser operates in various resonator configurations with confocal, hemispherical, and concentric resonators. It has an LTS 1500 electronic controller for the laser tube with an internal photodiode amplifier (with indication) and can be pumped by electric discharge.
The CA-1201 is a custom educational laser mounted on an optical rail with a DPSS laser to define the optical axis on the flat rail and includes optics like mirrors, lenses & BNC cable. This laser is ideal for educational purposes such as investigating the properties of gas lasers, emission lines & energy levels of Helium & Neon, laser beam width & shape in & outside of the resonator, output power optimization by resonator alignment, transversal resonator mode properties, stability criterion of laser operation & cavity optimization, and research applications.
