The ML2540 from FrankFurt Laser Company is a Laser Diode Module that operates at a wavelength from 450 to 1060 nm. It provides a CW/Pulsed output power of 1000-2000 mW with a power stability of ±0.5% (24 hours) and ±3% (lifetime). This laser diode can produce several beam shapes like round, line, grid, circle or line and dot arrays using various diffractive and refractive optical elements. The round beam produced has a diameter of less than 8 mm with beam divergence of less than 0.4 mrad and beam width of less than 100 μm.
The ML2540 requires a DC supply of 3-12 V and consumes less than 5 W of power. It is available in an IP65 black anodized aluminum housing that measures 138 x 40 x 25 mm and is ideal for roof tile alignment, railway conditions control, steel parts production, subsea robotics, traffic control and long distance pointer in defense applications.
