The Cobolt Tor XE from HÜBNER Photonics is a Q-Switched Nanosecond Pulsed Laser that operates at a wavelength of 1064 nm. It provides an average output power of 500 mW and peak power of more than 125 kW. This linearly polarized laser has a pulse repetition rate of up to 1 kHz and a pulse width of 2.5 ns. It requires a DC supply of 12 V and has a power consumption of up to 55 W. The laser supports USB and RS-232 interfaces for serial communication.

The Cobolt Tor XE is manufactured using Cobolt’s unique HTCure technology and offers unmatched robustness and reliability, making it highly suitable for OEM integration into demanding environments. The laser is available in a compact module with SMB connectors and is ideal for LIBS, micro-dissection, MALDI-TOF, range-finding, Raman-LIDAR, micro-machining, and industrial and scientific applications.
