The YLR-1070-MM Series from IPG Photonics is 1070 nm Ytterbium Multi-mode Fiber Lasers that provide an output power of up to 2 kW. These lasers can be modulated at frequencies up to 50 kHz. The high brightness lasers have a standard 50 µm core feeding fiber high with beam parameter product of under 15. These lasers have a touch panel display or can be controlled by rear control via Analog, RS-232 or Ethernet interfaced. Available in a rack mount configuration, they are ideal for a multitude of applications from cutting, welding and drilling to medical device manufacturing. Beam delivery options include coupler, beam switch (time or energy share) and delivery optics such as cutting and welding heads.
