The YLR-1070 Series from IPG Photonics are CW Diode-Pumped Ytterbium Fiber lasers that operate at 1070 nm. They provide an output power from 100-4000 W with power stability of ± 0.5%. These lasers provide single-mode output up to 2 kW via a 5 mm beam diameter affixed collimator or QBH plug-in connector and multi-mode output via a step-index fiber with core diameter from 50 to 200 μm.

The YLR-1070 Series has an optional front panel touch display or standard rear analog controls and supports RS-232 and Ethernet interfaces. They are available with beam delivery options that include coupler, beam switch (time or energy share), and delivery optics such as cutting and welding hands. These lasers are available in a 19” rack-mounted package and are ideal for precision cutting and scribing, micro-drilling, blind hole machining, welding, sintering/3D printing, heat treating, and scientific and advanced applications.
