The LGK 7872 BM from LASOS is an Argon Ion Laser that operates at a wavelength of 454.5 nm - 496.5 nm. It delivers an output power of 30 mW and has a beam diameter of 0.65 ± 0.06 mm. This class 3B laser has a divergence of up to 1.05 mrad and polarization (E-vector) ± 5° vertical with respect to base plate of above 500:1. It has a beam quality of up to 1.3 M2 (at 458 nm) and 1.2 M2 (at 488 nm). This continuous wave laser requires a warm-up period of 15 min and has an output power stability (during 2h after warm-up) of up to ± 1 %.
The LGK 7872 BM has noise in light in power control (each wavelength) of less than 1.0 % rms (at 20 Hz - 2 MHz) and beam-pointing stability of up to ± 30 µm (lateral drift) & ± 30 µrad (angular drift). This multi line laser has a beam position of up to ± 1.0 mm (lateral alignment) and up to 5.0 mrad (angular alignment). It has an integrated fan for cooling and supports AMP CPC, SERIES 4 & SIZE 23 connectors. This laser is available in a benchtop module and is ideal for microscopy, digital imaging, and Raman spectroscopy.
