The Equinox from M Squared is a Single Frequency Laser that operates at a wavelength of 532 nm. It delivers a continuous wave output power above 18 W with a power stability of ± 0.5% and a beam divergence of up to 0.45 mrad. This laser has a linewidth of up to 1 MHz and a beam diameter of 2.3 mm ± 10%. It has a polarization ratio of over 100:1 and operates in TEM00 mode. This laser has an amplitude noise of up to 0.05% RMS and can be controlled via Ethernet, webpage and TCP/IP remote interface.
The Equinox is built on an Invar baseplate to minimise effects from vibrations and thermal variations and provides maximum long-term stability and reliability. It is fully compatible with M Squared’s SolsTiS platform & its range of extensions and uses an easy-to-use web interface controls operation parameter during use as well as a published set of TCP/IP controls for third-party applications such as LabVIEW and MATLAB. This laser requires an AC supply of 90 - 264 V and consumes up to 800 W of power.
The Equinox is available in a module that measures 410 x 177 x 112 mm and is ideal for pump source for Ti:Sapphire laser systems (CW or pulsed), pump source for dye lasers and frequency doublers, single mode frequency mixing source, optical tweezers and optical trapping, biomedical imaging, nonlinear frequency generation, Raman spectroscopy and microscopy, interferometry, laser doppler velocimetry, fluorescence imaging holography and holographic storage, biomedical imaging, Brillouin scattering, DNA sequencing, flow cytometry and cell sorting, lithography, ophthalmology and optogenetics applications.
