The Elmo 780 from Menlo Systems is a Femtosecond Fiber Laser that operates at a center wavelength of 780 nm. It delivers an output power of over 85 mW and has a wavelength accuracy of ± 10 nm. This linearly polarised laser has a pulse width of 85 fs, pulse repetition rate of 100 MHz, and an RMS amplitude noise of up to 0.5%. It has an output wavelength changeable from 780 nm to 1560 nm with additional patch cord that delivers an output power above 180 mW and a pulse width of up to 70 fs.
The Elmo 780 is based on figure 9® mode-locking technology and includes a handheld detachable SHG module. It can be controlled via a remote switching unit or elmo control software with USB interface. This laser requires an AC supply voltage of 100/115/230 V and consumes 20 VA of power. It is available in a compact module that measures 195 mm x 95 mm x 75 mm and is ideal for amplifier seeding, THz generation, ultrafast spectroscopy, multi-photon excitation, 2-photon polymerization & 3D printing applications.
