The YLMO-SEED from Menlo Systems is a Ytterbium based Femtosecond Fiber Laser that operates from 1030 to 1064 nm. It provides an output power of over 200 mW and has a spectral width (3dB) of more than 15 nm. This linearly polarised laser produces a pulse energy of over 4 nJ with a repetition rate from 30–100 MHz and has a pulse width (FWHM) of less than 150 fs. It requires an AC supply from 100–230 V and consumes up to 120 W of power. The laser is based on figure 9 patented technology and delivers reliable and consistent mode-locking to ensure long term stable operation. It has a PM-fiber design that guarantees excellent stability and low noise, even in harsh environments with high fluctuations in temperature. The laser is available in a 2U rackmount unit that measures 448.7 x 495 mm and is ideal for amplifier seeding, laser micromachining, and ultrafast spectroscopy applications.
