The Explorer One HP HE 355-200 from Newport Corporation is an Nd: YAG Q-Switched DPSS Pulsed Laser that operates at an output wavelength of 355 nm. This laser provides an output power of over 4 W and has long-term stability of less than 2%. It produces pulse energy of over 200 μJ with a pulse width (FWHM) of less than 15 ns and has a repetition rate of up to 200 kHz (single shot). The laser operates in TEM resonator mode and has an M2 factor of less than 1.3. It requires a DC supply of 24 V and can be controlled via TTL and analog controls.
The Explorer One HP HE 355-200 is integrated with advanced hardware and software elements such as E-Pulse pulse energy control, burst mode, optional auto-calibration, and First Pulse Suppression (FPS) features. It has an E-Track dynamic pulse energy control functionality that actively measures and controls the laser for continual energy and power stabilization even under rapidly changing operating setpoints or environments.
