The ORIGAMI 03XP-S from NKT Photonics is a Dual Wavelength IR and UV Femtosecond Laser that operates at 343 nm. It has a peak power of over 50 MW with power stability of less than 2% rms. This laser produces a pulse energy of 20 μJ with a pulse duration of less than 400 fs and has pulse-to-pulse stability of less than 2 % rms. It produces a beam of quality factor M2 (TEM00) of up to 1.3 and has beam pointing stability of less than 30 μrad in single shot to 1 MHz and pulse-on-demand options. This laser has a spectral bandwidth of less than 1 nm and a vertical polarization of over 2 dB. It has a warm start time of less than 10 s and a cold start of less than 30 s. This laser can be controlled via an ethernet interface.
The ORIGAMI 03XP-S is based on Optocage laser design that enables a clean, femtosecond pulse output, excellent beam quality with unprecedented beam stability. The combination of multiple wavelengths together with a clean femto-second pulse output allows efficient processing of materials where low HAZ is essential. It has an in-field replaceable purge system, on-board diagnostics, performance monitoring and air/water cooling.
The ORIGAMI 03XP-S requires a DC supply of 24 V or AC supply of 90-264 V and consumes less than 500 W of power. It is available in a laser head module that measures 586.6 x 176 x 438.5 mm and is ideal for foil cutting, LCD patterning, OLED display repair, flex PCB processing and medical device manufacturing applications.
