The gem 671 from Novanta Photonics is a solid-state continuous wave laser that operates at a wavelength of 671 nm. It delivers an output power of 100 - 750 mW and has a beam divergence of less than 1.5 mrad. This single transverse mode red laser has a spectral bandwidth of 30 GHz and a beam pointing stability of up to 10 µrad/°c. It produces a beam of diameter 0.75 ± 0.15 mm and has power stability of less than 1% rms. This laser has a polarization ratio above 100:1 (horizontal) and a beam quality factor (M2) of less than 1.2. It has a beam angle of less than 1 mrad with a coherence length of nearly 1 cm. This laser has an RMS noise of less than 0.6% and a noise bandwidth of 10 Hz - 10 kHz.

The gem 671 uses PowerLoQTM Technology for extreme power stability over long periods of use and comes with high-power single-mode and multi-mode fiber coupling solutions. It has a robust optomechanical design for prolonged longevity and minimized downtime.
