The venteon ultra from Novanta Photonics is an ultra-short femtosecond laser that operates at a wavelength of 830 nm ± 30 nm. It delivers minimum pulse energy of 3 nJ with a minimum spectral bandwidth of 380 nm. This laser has a repetition rate of 80 MHz and a pulse duration of up to 8 fs. It produces a beam of diameter 0.8 mm ± 0.3 mm and a divergence of less than 3 mrad. This laser has a polarization ratio above 100:1 (horizontal) and average power greater than 240 mW. It has a beam quality of less than 1.2 M2 and power stability of up to 1%. This laser has an RMS noise of less than 0.1% and a warm-up time of up to 20 minutes.
The venteon ultra uses DCM mirrors to ensure unsurpassed phase control and can be used for direct CEP stabilization without additional spectral broadening. It uses CEPLoQ technology to directly modulate the pump power for phase stabilization without using an acousto optic modulator. This laser is available in a benchtop package that measures 690 x 285 x 100 mm and is ideal for laser-based diagnostic, analytical, micromachining, and fine material processing applications.
