The OE4032 from OEwaves is an L-Band Laser that operates at a wavelength of 1565 nm - 1590 nm. It delivers a continuous wave output power of 10 mW and has a spectral linewidth below 10 Hz. This multi-output laser has a thermal tuning range of 10 GHz and frequency modulation from DC to 1 MHz. It includes a proprietary driver/controller and the OEwaves laser source which is based on a high-quality factor (Q) Whispering Gallery Mode (WGM) micro-resonator.

The OE4032 has an optional single wavelength or phase-locked offset outputs. It can be controlled via USB or RS-232 interfaces and is available in a compact lab bench, instrument, or OEM package. This laser is ideal for interferometric optical sensing, LiDAR, Brillouin Optical Time-Domain Reflectometry (B-OTDR) temperature & strain measurement, gas sensing, optical metrology & spectroscopy, acoustic sensing, oil & gas exploration, coherent communication, and test & measurement applications.
