The OE4175 from OEwaves is a Laser that operates at a wavelength of 1700 nm - 1800 nm. It delivers an output power of 1 mW - 2 mW and has an ultra-narrow Lorentzian linewidth below 10 Hz. This multi-output laser has a thermal tuning range of 10 GHz and frequency modulation from DC to 1 MHz. It has an integrated driver/controller and optional single wavelength or phase-locked offset outputs.

The OE4175 can be controlled via USB or RS-232 interfaces and is available in a compact lab bench, instrument, or OEM package. This laser is ideal for interferometric optical sensing, LiDAR, Brillouin Optical Time-Domain Reflectometry (B-OTDR) temperature & strain measurement, gas sensing, optical metrology & spectroscopy, acoustic sensing, oil & gas exploration, coherent communication, test & measurement, and Barium 6S to 5D transition applications.
