The NeCu 70-248 from Photon Systems is a Deep UV Laser that operates at a wavelength of 248.6 nm. It provides a Quasi-CW peak power of over 250 mW with a pulse frequency from 1-20 Hz and has an adjustable pulse width of up to 50 μS. The laser has a beam diameter of 3 mm and a divergence of less than 4 mrad. It enables a remote computer control interface for ease of operation and offers flexible data collection via LabView software. The laser reaches its peak power in less than 20 microseconds from a cold start at an ambient temperature without preheating or temperature regulations.
The NeCu 70-248 requires an AC supply from 90-250 V or DC supply of 24 V and consumes up to 400 mA of current. It is available in a module that measures 10 x 10 x 70 cm and is ideal for laser-induced native fluorescence, UV resonance Raman analyzers, photoluminescence, capillary electrophoresis, liquid chromatography, and phosphorescence applications.
