The VisUV from PicoQuant are Picosecond Lasers that operate at a wavelength of 266 nm, 280 nm, 295 nm, 355 nm, 532 nm, 560 nm, and 590 nm. They deliver a maximum average power of 2 mW - 250 mW (266 nm - 532 nm), 1 mW - 150 mW (280 nm - 560 nm) & 0.5 mW - 60 mW (295 nm - 590 nm) (multicolor modules) and 1 mW (266-MIC), 2 mW (266 nm), 10 mW (355 nm), 300 mW (532 nm) & 750 mW (532-HP) (single color module). These lasers have a wavelength accuracy of ± 1 nm & ± 2 nm and an rms power stability of less than 3%.
The VisUV have a spectral width below 1 nm, pulse repetition rate of less than 1 MHz - 80 MHz, and pulse width of up to 85 ps. They produce a beam of diameter 1.0 ± 0.2 mm, 1.5 ± 0.2 mm & 2.1 ± 0.2 mm and have a beam divergence of 0.5 mrad - 2 mrad. These lasers have a beam quality factor (M2) of 1.01, 1.1, 1.2 & 1.5 and polarization extinction ratio (PER) above 1:300. They are compatible with the PicoQuant Laser driver and support 4-pin LEMO EGG.00.304.CLL female remote interlock, USB 3.0, SMA female & Sub-D9 female connectors.
The VisUV can be controlled via RS232, USB 2.0, Sepia PDL 828 interfaces, and WindowsTM 10 software. They are available in a module with a laser head that measures 352 (L) mm x 336 (W) mm x 82.5 (H) mm with an optional fiber coupling. These lasers are ideal for time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy/microscopy (FLIM, FCS, FRET), Stimulated Emission Depletion Microscopy (STED), biochemical analytics, Diffuse Optical Tomography (DOT), quantum optics, ranging, LiDAR, and 3D polymerization applications.
