The Grande from Power Technology Inc. are Laser Modules that operate at a wavelength of 450 nm - 980 nm. They deliver an output power of 0.65 W - 10 W and produce beam of diameters 0.66 mm x 2.87 mm, 0.66 mm x 2.86 mm, 0.97 mm x 3.13 mm, 0.78 mm x 3.23 mm, 1.28 mm x 5.26 mm & 1.2 mm x 4.64 mm. These lasers have beam divergence of 7.8 mrad x 2.5 mrad, 8.0 mrad x 1.9 mrad, 15 mrad x 0.5 mrad, 7.1 mrad x 2.3 mrad, 58.4 mrad x 13.9 mrad, 61.6 mrad x 8.8 mrad, and 58.1 mrad x 13.7 mrad.
The Grande can be controlled via an internal microprocessor and have a 12-bit ADC resolution (4096 steps). They require a DC supply voltage of 5 V or 8 V - 12 V and consume a maximum current of 5 A - 20 A. These lasers are available in a rugged, industrial-grade design that measures 4.6" (L) x 4" (W) x 3.5" (H) and are ideal for light-duty material processing, localized heating, display & machine vision applications.
