The CFR 400 from Quantel Laser by LUMIBIRD is a Compact Pulsed Lamp Pumped Nd: YAG Laser that operates at wavelengths of 1064, 532, 355, 266, and 1570 nm. It delivers a pulse energy of 65 - 400 mJ with pulse-to-pulse energy stability of 2.5%. This Q-switched laser has a maximum pulse duration of 13 ns and a repetition rate of 10 - 20 Hz. It produces a beam of diameter up to 7 mm and beam divergence of up to 12 mrad with pointing stability of 100 μrad.

The CFR 400 has a motorized variable attenuator and gaussian or multimode resonators. It has a lamp pumping with 50 million shots lamp lifetime making it immune from dust, vibration, and the school of hard knocks. This laser requires an AC supply of 100 to 240 V and consumes 10 A of current. It is available in a laser head module with a separate control unit and is ideal for ablation, spectroscopy, fluorescence, particle imaging velocimetry (PIV), and Pumping applications.
