The Merion MW HP from Quantel laser by LUMIBIRD are Diode-Pumped Nanosecond Pulsed Nd:YAG Lasers that operate at wavelengths of 1064 nm, 532 nm, 355 nm, and 266 nm. They deliver an output power of up to 100 W (at 1064 nm) and have repetition rates of 50 Hz, 100 Hz & 200 Hz. These lasers have an energy per pulse of 400 mJ, 1000 mJ & 1500 mJ (at 1064 nm), 200 mJ, 550 mJ & 900 mJ (at 532 nm), and 100 mJ, 330 mJ & 500 mJ (at 355 nm). They have a pulse duration of 5 ns - 9 ns and pulse-to-pulse energy stability of ± 2 (at 1064 nm), ± 4 (at 532 nm) & ± 6 (at 355 nm).
The Merion MW HP produce a beam of diameter 6.5 mm or 9 mm and have a beam divergence below 0.7 mrad (at 1064 nm). They have a beam quality factor (M2) of less than 2.5 (at 1064 nm), spatial profile of over 0.7 (near field) & 0.9 (far field) at 1064 nm, and polarisation extinction ratio of greater than 90% (at 1064 nm). These lasers have a beam-pointing stability of less than 40 µrad and power drift of ± 3% (at 1064 nm) & ± 5% (at 532 nm & 355 nm). They have a maximum linewidth of 0.7 cm-1 (standard) & 0.005 cm-1 (SLM) and jitter of ± 0.5 ns (standard) & ± 1 ns (SLM) at 1064 nm.
The Merion MW HP feature plug-and-play harmonics with automatic phase-matching and have an optional single longitudinal mode with quick-connect cables & cooling lines. They are available in a compact design with a laser head that measures 800 (L) mm x 500 (W) mm x 188 (H) mm and are ideal for material processing, laser ultrasonic, Thomson scattering, Ti:Sa crystals pumping, ablation, interferometry, LiDAR, LIF, PIV, laser peening, spectroscopy, combustion, CARS, shockwave generation, OPO pumping, PLD & photochemistry applications.
