The Q-Scan from Quantel laser by LUMIBIRD is an Nd:YAG Tunable Dye Laser that operates at a wavelength from 200 to 4500 nm. It delivers output energy of 2.5 - 210 mJ and has a pulse duration of 4 - 5 ns (FWHM). This laser produces a beam of up to 6 mm in diameter with a beam divergence of 0.5 mrad and beam pointing stability of 50 μrad. It has high precision mechanics that provide extreme wavelength accuracy, reproducibility, and linearity.

The Q-Scan requires an AC supply of 110-240 V and consumes 3-6 A of current. This laser has plug-and-play dye cells for fast dye change and has an integrated look-up table for non-linear crystals, beam deviation compensator, and residual beam dumping. It is available in a laser head module that measures 1600 x 600 x 300 mm and is ideal for high-resolution spectroscopy, combustion, lif, photodissociation, atmospheric kinetics, lidar, cars, libs, and photolysis applications.
