The MicroJewel Lasers from Quantum Composers is a Pulsed Diode Pumped Solid State (DPSS) Nd:YAG Laser that operate at wavelengths of 1064 nm or 532 nm. It has a pulse energy of 8 mJ or 3 mJ (at 1064 nm) & 4 mJ (at 532 nm) and pulse width of 6 ns ± 2 ns. This multimode laser has a repetition rate of 5 Hz and beam divergence of 6 mrad (at 1062 nm) & 2.5 mrad (at 532 nm). It produces a near-field beam of diameter 1.25 ± 0.5 mm and has a beam pointing stability of 200 μrad. This Q-switched laser has an energy variance of 5% (for 1064 nm) & 7% (for 532 nm) and energy drift of 10%.
The MicroJewel Lasers has a polarization extinction ratio of 150:1 (for linear outputs) and an RMS stability of 2.5% (for 1064 nm) & 3.5% (for 532 nm). It has an inline resonator and excellent shot-shot stability. This laser requires a DC supply voltage of 40 V - 50 V, consumes 0.5 A of current, and dissipates up to 20 W of power. It is available in a compact & rugged module that measures 12.7 (dia) mm x 92 mm (resonator) and 76 mm x 51 mm x 86 mm (diode driver & controller). It is ideal for Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS), LiDAR, ablation, spectroscopy, commercial, and OEM applications.
