The TSL-570 from Santec Corporation is a Tunable Laser that operates at a wavelength from 1240 to 1640 nm. It produces an output power of 7-13 dBm with a power stability of ±0.01 dB. This laser has a linewidth of 40-200 kHz and a sweep speed of 1-200 nm/s. It has a wavelength resolution of 0.1 pm and a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 90 dB/0.1 nm. This laser can be controlled via a touch panel display, Ethernet, GPIB and USB interfaces. It has a mode-hop-free sealed laser cavity that provides stable output at every wavelength and a Wake-on-LAN (WoL) feature that provides convenience for remote installations.

The TSL-570 requires an AC supply of 100-120/200-240 V and consumes 100 W of power. It is available in a benchtop module that measures 220 x 385 x 131 mm with FC or SC / SPC or APC optical connectors and is ideal for optical component characterization, fiber optic transmission testing, photonic material characterization, interferometry,  photonic integrated circuit testing, quantum photonics, spectroscopy, sensors and optical spectroscopy applications.
