The Matisse CS from Sirah Lasertechnik is a Ti:Sapphire Continuous Wave (CW) Ring Laser that operates at a wavelength of 700 nm - 1000 nm. It delivers an output power of up to 8.4 W and has a linewidth of less than 50 kHz rms/100 msec & 35 kHz rms/100 µsec. This fully automated laser produces a beam of radius 0.4 mm - 0.5 mm and has a beam divergence of less than 1.2 mrad. It has an amplitude noise of less than 0.1% rms and a scan range above 50 GHz. This tunable laser can be pumped using Millenia series lasers with pump powers of 5 W, 10 W, 15 W, 20 W, and 25 W.

The Matisse CS has an inbuilt intracavity electro optic modulator and offers hands-free operation with ELSA (Electronic Laser Self Alignment). It has special optics for enlarged tuning range from 662 nm to 1050 nm. This horizontally polarized laser is compatible with Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10 and can be controlled via a USB interface. It is available in a module that measures 720 (L) mm x 306 (W) mm x 226 (H) mm and is ideal for quantum optics, atomic cooling, holography, high-resolution spectroscopy, and Raman spectroscopy applications.
