The Mai Tai BB from MKS | Spectra-Physics is an Ultrafast Ti:Sapphire Laser that operates at a wavelength of 710 nm - 990 nm. It delivers an output power of greater than 650 mW (710 nm & 920 nm), 1.5 W (800 nm), and 250 mW (990 nm). This laser has a beam-pointing stability below 50 μrad/100 nm and stability of less than ±1 %. It has a pulse repetition rate of 80 MHz ±1 MHz and pulse width of up to 80 fs. This pulsed laser has a beam roundness of 0.9 - 1.1 and beam divergence below 1.2 mrad.
The Mai Tai BB horizontally polarised laser produces a beam of diameter of up to 1.2 mm, has TEM00 spatial mode with a beam quality factor (M2) of less than 1.1, and polarization extinction ratio above 500:1. It has a maximum noise of 0.15 % and astigmatism of 10%. This laser uses ultra-stable regenerative mode-locking and StabiLok® real-time monitoring technology.
The Mai Tai BB is available in a compact module that measures 606.81 (L) mm x 350.27 (W) mm x 151.13 (H) mm and is ideal for multiphoton microscopy, time-resolved photoluminescence, non-linear spectroscopy, optical computed tomography, surface second harmonic generation, terahertz imaging, semiconductor metrology, materials processing and amplifier seeding applications.
