The CTL 900 from TOPTICA Photonics is a Tunable Laser that operates at a wavelength of 880 nm - 950 nm. It delivers an output power of up to 50 mW and has a maximum scan speed of 10 nm/s. This continuous wave laser has an absolute accuracy of less than 100 pm and a relative accuracy of up to 10 pm. It has a piezo scan rate of 55 GHz, piezo step size of less than 10 kHz, and linewidth of up to 10 kHz. This vertically polarized laser produces a TEM00 beam of size 1 x 1 mm - 1 x 3 mm and a beam height of 50 ± 0.3 mm. It has a polarization ratio of 100:1 and fiber coupling efficiency above 50%.
The CTL 900 has an active SMILE (Single Mode Intelligent Loop Engine) feedback loop and a DLC pro controller. It uses an Ethernet interface and can be operated remotely via touch screen & knobs or via remote PC GUI & Python SDK command language. This laser requires an AC supply voltage of 100 - 120 V/220 - 240 V and consumes up to 50 W of power. It is available in an optomechanical design with a laser head measuring 370 mm (L) x 150 mm (W) x 90 mm (H) and a control unit of dimensions 450 mm (L) x 348 mm (W) x 154 mm (H). This laser is ideal for micro-cavities & pumping microcombs, quantum dots, component testing, and spectroscopy applications.
