The DFC CORE+ from TOPTICA is a Difference Frequency Comb (DFC) Laser that operates at 1560 nm. It features 4 or 8 offset-free, fiber-coupled outputs, which can be equipped with wavelength extension modules (DFC EXT) converting the comb light to any wavelength between 420 and 2200 nm using 200 or 80 MHz of comb spacing. This laser delivers more than 10 mW of power at each output. It has a bandwidth of more than 20 nm at each output.

The DFC CORE + also includes a low-noise all PM-fiber oscillator, an Erbium-doped fiber amplifier and HNLF (Highly Non-Linear Fiber) for supercontinuum generation, and an Erbium-doped fiber distribution amplifier. It is available in a compact unit that measures 133 x 450 x 633 mm with laser head and is suitable for laser reference, high-resolution spectroscopy, optical clocks, microwave generation, dual-comb spectroscopy, direct frequency comb spectroscopy, interferometry, transportable AMO systems, and quantum computing applications.
