The TopWave 405 from TOPTICA Photonics is a Single Frequency Laser Diode that operates at a wavelength of 405 nm. The laser provides an output power of 1 W and produces a beam with a diameter of 1.5 nm. It has a beam divergence of 0.6 mrad and a beam pointing stability of better than 5 μrad. This linearly/vertically polarized laser can be controlled via USB and ethernet interfaces. It can be used as a replacement for established K+ gas lasers without significant changes to the optical system. The laser diode is available as a benchtop unit that measures 127 x 295 x 500 mm (laser head) & 154 x 450 x 348 mm (control unit) and is ideal for lithography and holography applications.
The TopWave 405 requires an AC supply of 100-240 V and has a power consumption of less than 100 W.
