The Dira 500-10 from TRUMPF is an Ultrafast Laser based on thin-disk laser technology that operates at a wavelength of 1030 nm. It delivers an average output power of 500 W and produces a pulse energy of up to 50 mJ. This laser system has a pulse repetition rate of 10 - 100 kHz and minimum pulse duration of 600 fs. It has a beam quality factor (M2) of up to 1.5. This laser system has superior stability (typically < 0.5% rms) and the flexible design enables customization of systems according to user requirements in terms of energy and repetition rate. It is ideal for laser pumping, coherent X-ray sources, and filamentation applications.
