The Stradus 705-30 from Vortran Laser Technology is a Diode Laser Module that operates at a wavelength of 705 nm. It delivers an output power of 30 mW and has a wavelength accuracy of ± 10 nm. This laser produces a beam of diameter 1.3 mm or 1 mm and has a beam divergence of 0.5 mrad or 1 mrad. It has a beam circularity above 90% and beam alignment of less than 5 mrad. This vertically polarized laser has a TEM00 beam spatial mode with a beam quality factor (M2) of up to 1.25 and polarization extinction ratio of greater than 100:1. It has a beam centration below 0.5 mm and pointing stability of up to 5 μrad/°C.
The Stradus 705-30 laser is a class IIIb laser with patented sealed optical cavity. It has a modulation of 200 MHz (digital) & 500 kHz (analog) and rise time of less than 2 ns (digital) & 0.7 μs (analog). This laser has infinite modulation depth (full off) and an RMS noise below 0.2% (10 Hz - 10 MHz). It can be controlled via mini-USB & RS-232 interfaces and supports GUI software. This laser requires an AC supply voltage of 90 V - 250 V (control box), a DC supply voltage of 12 V, and consumes up to 1.5 A of current. It is available in a compact module that measures 100 (L) cm x 45.11 (H) cm x 40 (W) cm and is ideal for medical, biomedical & industrial applications.
