The ClarityPlus Series from Wavelength References is a Precision Frequency Standard Full C Band Tunable Laser that operates at a wavelength of 1528 nm - 1567 nm. It delivers an output power of 10 dBm and has a wavelength accuracy of ± 1 pm. This laser has a linewidth above 500 kHz and power stability of ± 0.015 dB (1 hour) & ± 0.025 dB (24 hours). It has two basic modes: Reference mode where the laser is locked to a built-in gas cell line (any of 50 lines) and Wavelength/ITU mode where the laser is set anywhere in the C-band but referenced to a nearby gas line & offers live frequency offset.
The ClarityPlus Series has an allan deviation of up to 1 x 10-9 (reference mode), ITU grid resolutions of 100 GHz, 50 GHz, 25 GHz, and ITU frequency offset below 50 GHz. It has a side mode suppression of over 35 dB, relative intensity noise (RIN) of less than -140 dB, and is SCPI compliant. It uses PM Panda fiber and can be controlled via RS-232, 9-pin D-Sub socket & SCAPC interfaces. This laser requires an AC supply voltage of 90 V - 250 V and consumes 0.5 A of current. It is available in a benchtop module and is ideal for sensing, test bed for optical communications, general-purpose bench laser & coherent communication applications.
