The MSA130 from TOPAG Lasertechnik GmbH is a Czerny-Turner Double Monochromator that operates at a wavelength from 190 to 2600 nm. It has gratings of size 25 x 25 x 8 mm with 300/600/1200 lines per mm. This monochromator is a two-in-one instrument that can operate in both addition and subtraction modes of dispersion. It provides both modes without any additional alignment & calibration and can be manually switched using a selector knob. In the dispersion subtraction mode, it serves as a tunable low-stray-light-filter with a selectable bandpass. This scanning monochromator’s entrance, intermediate & exit slits have manual control and smooth micrometrical adjustment of the opening width.
The MSA130 gratings are located at the same axis and are driven by the same step motor which ensures complete synchronism of their rotation and high precision of wavelength setting. This monochromator can be controlled via a USB interface using a computer. It requires an AC supply of 85 - 264 V and is available in a module that measures 265 x 195 x 210 mm. This monochromator is ideal for raman, emission, and fluorescence spectroscopy.
