The ScanDelay USB from APE Angewandte Physik & Elektronik is a Precision Optical Delay Line that has a scan range of 15ps - 150 ps. It has an internal generator with a frequency from 0.1 Hz to 20 Hz and can be externally triggered with a frequency range of 0.1 Hz - 20 Hz. This delay line has a USB output interface and a clear aperture of 1" for 15ps and 1/2" for 50ps/150ps.

The ScanDelay USB can generate fast wide scans as well as the smallest delays and measures actual position in real-time using an analog photoelectric system. The control electronics consist of a motor driver and a quartz stabilized signal synthesizer. Its optical head is available in two versions with benchtop packaging that have dimensions of 140 mm X 100 mm X 125 mm for 15 ps/50 ps & 220 mm X 263 mm X 204 mm for 150 ps scan delay and is ideal for Interferometers, pump-probe configurations, correlators, and fast scan modules.
