The F-VDL-1-3-FA-P from MKS | Newport is a Manually Variable Optical Delay Line (ODL) that operates at a wavelength of 1260 nm - 1650 nm. It delivers a maximum output power of 300 mW and has an optical delay range of up to 330 ps. This polarisation-maintaining ODL has an extinction ratio above 18 dB and a readout scale resolution of 0.05 mm. It has an insertion loss of 1 dB, a minimum return loss of 50 dB, and polarisation-dependent loss below 0.1 dB. This ODL supports Fujikura PM panda fiber pigtails with FC/APC connectors and is available in a compact & rugged design that measures 25.4 mm x 53.3 mm x 152 mm. It is ideal for fiber interferometers, passive time division multiplexing, and TDM bit alignment applications.
