The MDL-1-6-FA-P from Newport Corporation is a Variable Delay Line that has an optical delay range of up to 560 ps. It operates at a wavelength of 1550 ± 50 nm and delivers maximum optical power of 300 mW. This motorized variable delay line has a typical insertion loss of 1 dB, an extinction ratio of over 18 dB, and a return loss of 50 dB. It has ten selectable speed levels from 0.01 ps/s to 256 ps/s with an optical delay accuracy of ± 0.01 ps and an optical delay resolution of 1 fs.
