The Altimeter Optical Delay Line from RFOptic operates from 0.1 to 6 GHz. It can be configured to form customized delays of 1ft, 2 ft, etc., and has a delay range of 1 to 100,000 ft with a delay accuracy of 0.1%. This optical delay line can handle a maximum input power of 20 dBm and a VSWR of 2.1 with a switching time of 10 ms. It has a phase noise of -130 dBc/Hz and spurious levels of -80 dBm. This ODL provides a true-time delay of wideband RF signals using single-mode optical fiber. It can be controlled via a USB interface.
The Altimeter Optical Delay Line supports a single delay ODL configuration and the control and monitoring are done using a front panel, a navigation switch, and an LCD display, or through a USB connection. This ODL requires an AC supply of 110/220 V and is available in a 19-inch rack-mounted package. It can be connected via SMA or N-type RF connectors and are ideal for radar calibration testing and altimeter applications.
